What do we Offer Virtual Assistants :

One of the most important lessons learned early from my eight years in the United States Navy and 15 years in corporate America is learning is a continuous process. The learning  must never stop if you want to continue to grow professionally and personally. Five years ago, I decided to leave the corporate world  and the  birth of Ajia Training & Consulting Services, LLC was formed. As the founder Anita M Brown of Ajia, I have been training individuals in software applications since 1988 and using the applications on a regular basis.

Our software training track specializes in the latest software technology that can be used in every facet of the VA business world. Our workshop packages are broken down into three different levels based on each individuals skill set: introduction, intermediate and advance.

Each workshop package consists of Microsoft Office, FrontPage, Adobe Professional 7, QuickBooks, Photo Shop, Microsoft Publisher and Advance features of Microsoft Word. We offer  all versions of Microsoft Office.

We can also customize a package specific to your needs. Other applications available include Microsoft Visio, Crystal Reports, Quicken.
 

Ajia provides a blended learning environment. Each student will have access to our online elearning, meet online once a week with your instructor and 24/7 email support, until the completion of your training track.

Our blended learning is the most innovative live web-based training seen and delivered on the Internet. The platform we use gives us the ability to offer training right in your living room or office, share our software application, text chat, file transfer, and voice over IP.

Software Training Track Details:                              

  1. Our software training track is 10 weeks long.
    30
    hours / 10 weeks / 3 hours per week. 1 hour will be spent live online each week with our interactive platform, which will give the instructor the ability to do application sharing, instant chat, PowerPoint presentations, web tours and live audio. The other 2 hours will be spent using our secured elearning site.
     

  2. Five software applications are included in your training track and you can pick which applications you would like to learn.
     

  3. You will spend 2 weeks on each software application.
     

  4. Our training tracks are customizable for introduction, intermediate and advance levels.
     

  5. Manuals and student files are include with each application.
     

  6. Upon completion each student will receive a certificate for each software application completed.

Word

FrontPage
Microsoft  FrontPage is a powerful web-development software program that gives its users the necessary tools to create a web site. FrontPage also offers  many different customizable templates, which saves you a lot of time.

Microsoft FrontPage is your best bet if you want to quickly create a basic web site. According to many reviews, FrontPage is the most user-friendly web-development program available.

PowerPoint
Microsoft PowerPoint is a desktop presentation that turns your ideas into professional, convincing presentations. If you've ever used an overhead projector, flip chart, or even a blackboard, you're going to love PowerPoint.

PowerPoint lets you create slides that include text, graphics, charts, and even digital movies! Once you  have created a presentation, you can display it as an electronic slide show on any computer. Or, you can print your slides so that you can display them as transparencies or 35mm slides.

Microsoft Excel
Excel is a powerful spreadsheet software program that allows you to make quick and accurate numerical calculations. Entering data onto a spreadsheet (or worksheet as they are called in Excel) is quick and easy. Once data has been entered in a worksheet, Excel can instantly  perform any type of calculation on it.

Excel can also make your information look sharp and professional. The uses for Excel are limitless: businesses use Excel for creating financial reports, invoices, and contact  management. Microsoft  Excel is by far most widely used and, according to most reviews, the  most  powerful and user-friendly spreadsheet  program available.

Microsoft Access
Microsoft Access is a powerful database program you can use to store all kinds of information. Once information  is stored in a Microsoft Access database, it's easy  to find,  analyze, and  print. Creating and working with a Microsoft Access database is probably a whole lot easier than you think.

Microsoft Outlook                                             
Outlook is a  messaging and personal information manager. Outlook lets you send and receive e-mail messages, schedule appointments, organize your contacts and addresses and share your calendar with your clients. It also reminds you of tasks you need to complete.

The different tools included with Outlook work together seamlessly. For example, you can select several names from Outlook's Contact list and send those people an e-mail messages in a few clicks.

Adobe Photoshop CS
Adobe Photoshop is one of the most powerful and widely used computer tools for working with graphics and images. Photoshop has so many options and functions that it can seem overwhelming at first; but with a little practice and patience you will soon be able to take advantage of the many creative possibilities that Photoshop offers.

Microsoft Publisher
This program is for creative and non-creative individuals who want to get more out of desktop publishing programs. With the hundreds of template’s this program has to offer, anyone has the potential to create dynamic and impressive flyers, documents, business cards etc.

Microsoft Project 2003
At its most basic level, Microsoft Project 2003 is a database. It’s like the digital version of a filing cabinet: you can use it to store, find, and share information. Unlike a filing cabinet, however, Project 2003 has a brain. This means you can also use it to manage, plan, and analyze information.


Adobe Professional 7.0
Adobe is a document management software that allows you to convert documents from any format into a generic format that others can read. For example; suppose you create a document in Microsoft Excel 2003 and you need to  send  the  document  to someone who doesn't have the same version as you, or don't have the software application. By saving your document as Adobe (PDF) your client can read the document as long as they have the  free downloadable Adobe reader.

QuickBooks 2005
QuickBooks 2005 is an accounting program designed for small businesses. The QuickBooks software package can help you organize and monitor all areas of your company's finances, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payroll, and customer data management. You can also prepare and print checks, automate transactions, create budgets, and generate reports and graphs. QuicksBooks' flexible and roboust design is well suited to service - and product-based companies.

How much is training track I?
The cost for training track I is $450.00USD per student.

The cost for one-on-one training track  is $650USD per student.

a. Each training track includes a manual for each software application and Quick Reference Cards can be purchased for an additional $2.50 each.

a. Training track I is 5 weeks long at 5 hours per week.

7. Do I need to purchase any software applications?

a. Software applications are not required for the live online training, however it is recommended to be able to practice offline.

8. Can I retake a training track?

a. Yes, if you feel that you didn't receive what you expected please contact our training department trainingdept@ajiatrain.com.

9. Can I arrange private online training to fit my schedule?

a. Yes, contact our training department and they can arrange a private session that is comfortable with your schedule.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

a. Training must be cancelled with 24 hours prior to class for a full refund. If class is cancelled within 24 hours of training a $10.00 administration fee will be charged.

11. What if I  pay for training and I'm unable to attend or class is full?

a. If you are unable to attend a class that has been paid for you can reschedule. In the event training becomes full you will be put on a waiting list or issued a full refund.
